The project includes drilling 44 development wells using 2 jack up rigs o, one vertical well on each platform and the rest of the wells will be deviated. There will be two main platform and two satellite platform and each one will host 11 well totally 44 well will be drilled. It is estimated to complete the project in 42 month.

The development project for producing oil from the oil layers of the South Pars gas field which is a joint reservoir with the State of Qatar will be carried out in two stages.

On 27th December 2007, a service (BuyBack) Contract for development of FERDOWSI Gas Field was signed between the National Iranian Oil company (NIOC) and Malaysian SKS Oil & Gas International Co. The duration of the contract, taking into account Golshan Gas Field, is 66 months. FERDOWSI Gas field is located approximately 30 KM, west of Golshan Field in the Persian Gulf.

On 26th December, 2007, a Service (BuyBack) Contract for Development of Golshan Gas Field was signed between the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Malaysian SKS Oil & Gas International Co. (SKSOG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Petrofield). Duration of the contract, taking Ferdowsi Gas Field into account, will be 66 months.

North Pars Gas Field is one of the biggest independent gas fields of the country. This field which was discovered in 1967 is located some 120 kilometers south east of Bushehr in water depths of 2 to 30 meters in the Persian Gulf.

Azar oil field is shared between Iran and Iraq in sarvak formation, also there is possibility that this field is shared with Changule field in north west section of the field. It is located in Anaran exploration block in Ilam province.

It is located in 100 km south west of Ahwaz and 30 km north of Khoramshahr city. The oil discovered in 1964 by drilling the first well and another two well were drilled on 1978 and 1999 by NIOC. 2D seismic was performed on 1974 and 1997. By completing the second phase of the development the oil production will reach to 160000 bbl/d and gas injection to 280 million SCF/d.

Phases 22,23 and 24 will be development to produce 3000 MMscfd gas from the South Pars Gas Field reservoir. The EPSCC (Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction and Commissioning) buy-back contract, for South Pars gas field phases 22, 23 and 24 development project, will be executed with Iranian contractors and manufacturer’s participation- at least 51 percent of the contract lump sum

Phase 19 will be development to produce 2000 MMscfd gas from the South Pars Gas Field reservoir.

The development project of this phase will be implemented through Iranian contractors and manufacturers’ participation in the form of EPSCC (Engineering, procurement, Supply, Construction and commissioning). The project will be implemented in the Persian Gulf, and Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) Site 1 in asalouyeh to produce 2000 MSCf/d gas from the reservoir.

Phase 15&16 will be development to produce 2000 MMscfd gas from the reservoir.

Phase 14 will be development to produce 2000 MMscfd gas from the reservoir.

Phase 13 will be development to produce 2000 MMscfd gas from the reservoir.

Phase 12 will be development to produce 3000 MMscfd gas from the reservoir.

The development project for phase 11 will be designed and implemented to supply the required sour gas to "Pars LNG" unit and recovery of associated gas condensate.
